▪ Who is collecting the data?
PLBs’ Clients collect their customer data and share it with us via secure IT System Access. PLB only collect customer data on planned programme works to ensure all data received from our clients is up to date and accurate, all planned programme works are allocated a dedicated Customer Liaison Officer who is adequately trained in customer service, safeguarding and data protection and operates within PLBs Data Protection and GDPR
policies.

Messages sent via our website direct to our Customer Service team are secure and the information not used or retained for any other purposes, duration for which is necessary as per Data retention legislation and Standards.

▪ What data is being collected?
PLB require to know customers names and best contact details in order to carry out our service. Only in cases where we have to accommodate a Data Subjects disability will we record this information to ensure we provide the best possible service for this customer.

▪ What is the legal basis for processing the data?
PLB has a legal obligation to provide our clients with standards construction services such as Repairs and Maintenance and planned programme works. In order to do this we require access to peoples homes for which contact details are needed to schedule works.

▪ Will the data be shared with any third parties?
Any data held or collected by PLB is not shared with third parties it is completely confidential between us and the client with whom the data is applicable.

▪ How will the information be used?
The information in question will be used by our customer service team or Customer Liaison Officers to contact tenants to arrange appointments only. Communications will not be excessive, and all will be stored on secure IT systems with adequate security and verification measures in place.

▪ How long will the data be stored for?
Customer data will only be stored for the time period of the contract under which the works have been completed. 

Data is retained in accordance with legislative, regulatory of statutory guidelines. It is kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed.

▪ What rights does the data subject have?
Data subjects have the right to ask for a full disclosure of all information PLB hold on them and can at any time request that this data be removed from records. In this case PLB will remove all data within 30 days of the request as per GDPR.
