PLB has worked in Partnership with Plus Dane Housing since 2001 supporting it with different aspects of its work across Cheshire and Merseyside. We work closely with the team there to ensure their tenants and customers receive a good, reliable service and are safe and happy in their homes.

We recently formalised our relationship with the organisation by signing a partnership agreement to support it with responsive repairs, maintenance, gas servicing and the planned investment in its homes. We are also proud to be partnering on its regeneration of the Welsh Streets in Liverpool, extensively remodelling 70 affordable homes in the first phases. As part of our commitment to supporting social value, we have worked closely with Plus Dane on local employment initiatives and an apprenticeship scheme.

PLB continues to support the growth and strategic objectives of Plus Dane and is committed to working collaboratively developing and investing in solutions to provide high-quality homes and services.

PLB and SLH have been on a journey since the award of a partnering agreement in 2008. The past 10 years has seen the establishment of Avela Home Service (formerly SLH Home Service) Limited Liability Partnership. Working together, we have achieved a fully-integrated contact centre, automated systems and aligned our supply chains to support our Repairs and Maintenance and Reinvestment Program services across SLH housing stock.

Following the success of this partnership, a second joint venture was created in 2018, Avela Developments, solely focused on the development of new homes, beginning with Burnage Close, a development of 16 homes for affordable rent.

We continue to work closely with our partners at SLH to ensure we deliver a high-quality, efficient, customer-focused service alongside supporting and developing social value initiatives to reinvest in the communities in which we work. We look forward to what the future holds!
