  • Developments


  • Rice Lane (Riverside 2020-2021) - The construction of a 24 unit apartment block. 22No 1 bed 2 person apartments plus 2 offices, communal space including carpark, services & landscaping.


  • Flambards (Magenta 2020-21) Construction of 16 Semi-detached houses and 2 detached dwellings on wasteland formerly occupied by an apartment block. Works include construction of new road and landscaping.


  • Saughall Massie Road (Magenta 2019-20) - 7 3bed houses and 4 4bed houses. Construction of new road and landscaping.


  • Wellington Road (Plus Dane 2017-19) - 10 Self contained apartments with external works through the Innovation Chain North West.


  • Glover Place (Magenta Living 2016-17)- 4 2 and 3 person bungalows at 62.5m2. Built with traditional construction methods with piled foundations and external works


  • Burnage Close (2018-19) - Design and Build contract for the Development of 16, 2 and 3 bedroom homes on Burnage Close In Speke. Our first project as Avela Developments, our second Joint Venture with SLH.


  • Refurbishments


  • Welsh Streets (Plus Dane 2018-2020)- Regeneration of 100+ properties and the Welsh Streets Community in the L8 area. Works comprise of full internal rip out and refit, external work, rebuilding of front fascias and conversion of 2 properties into one. All houses in scope are of different architypes and tenures.


  • 109 Upper Parliament Street (Onward 2020) - Improvement works to Grade2 listed building converted into 9 self contained flats. Works included repairs, renewal of M&E, new kitchen and bathroom installations and floor and wall finishes.


  • Anfield Regeneration Phase 3 + 4 (Your Housing Group 2016-18) - Full house renovation works undertaken to twenty-nine properties in six Anfield streets to create 21 homes including reconfiguration of 8nr one/two bedroom converted into 4 ‘two-into-one’ homes to create three and four-bedroom houses to better meet local housing demand. Remaining properties mix of one and two-bedroom houses with single/two storey extensions to create additional space/rooms. Phase-4 included full-house renovation works to 28 properties including replacement of key components (kitchen, bathroom, windows/doors, heating) and single/double storey extensions undertaken to:
  1. 7nr 2 into 1 properties (2 Bed)
  2. 4 nr 2 into 1 properties ( 3 Bed)
  3. 6nr 1 bed property with single storey rear extension
  4. 11nr 2 Bed property with double storey extension


  • Granby Four Streets (LMH 2015-16) - Whole house internal and external refurbishment of 15 vacant terraced units, demolition and construction of 4 (2 and 3 bedroom) new build units. Works include all mechanical and electrical works, windows, doors, roofing, external and environmental works, central heating, insulation and kitchens and bathroom replacement.


  • Cairns Street (Community Land Trust 2015-16) - Extensive refurbishment of 3 derelict and empty properties proposed for sale as affordable housing including: structural works and full internal refurbishment and reconfiguration to provide open plan living. Installation of kitchen, bathroom, windows and doors, central heating, rewire, external painting and insulation.


  • Conversions (Torus 2017-18) - Refurbishment/reconfiguration of 25 3 bed properties into 1 bed flats including full refurbishment/fit-out


  • 55 Canning Street ( Crosby Housing Association 2017) - Refurbishment of 14nr bedsits in a listed building.


  • Speke Town Lane (SLH 2018) - Refurb of 1 occupied property converted from 4 to 6 bedroom home via building a full extension.


  • Amina House (Plus Dane 2014) - Amina House adaptation to incorporate en-suite shower rooms to each individual bedroom including all electrics, plumbing, decoration and general building works and external decorations.

  • LJMU Avril Robarts Library Roof Replacement 2018-19

       Removal of existing structure and replacement with SIKA Liquid Plastics roofing system. Installation of Mansafe                       equipment and with consideration for building occupants and operational times. 


  • Anfield Environmentals Phase 1 (2017-2018)

       Consisted of construction of walls, hard-scaping, Soft-landscaping and Section 278 works in Burnand Street in Anfield           Village. Phase 2 is looking to commence in 2019 along Blessington Road.
